Water sports are steps away in the bay coves of Crown Point. Meanwhile, the neighborhoods of Crown Point are secluded and private, with an excellent community of neighbors.
“This place is the BEST spot in San Diego to watch the Seaworld fireworks. You can either watch from the bay or even the parking lot as amazing views. On a clear day, you can even see downtown San Diego in the distance.”- Janice L., San Diego via Yelp
“I usually head to Crown Point to go for a bike ride or walk around the bay on the 3 1/2 mile trail that runs next to the bay all the way over to Belmont Park but there are also are large grassy areas where you a just sit and watch the world go by or maybe you can get a game of OTL going in the large sandy area next to park . You can also meet up with some friends and have a bonfire in one of the fire pits that line the bay. Crown point has a little something for every one. No matter what your in to.” -Brian C, Lakeside via Yelp
” My first San Diego bubble…. I lived in the area for 2 years and absolutely loved it. Cute family homes surround the area. It is a mixture of young adults and families which live in this part of town. There is a park right on the bay with plenty of green grass which is perfect for a family picnic, taking dogs for a walk, enjoying the sunshine, or to play some catch football. There are also plenty of fire pits for bonfires in the evenings. And plenty of parking which is a plus for those who come here but don’t live in the area. Just across Ingraham, there is the gorgeous Sail Bay which is perfect for some beach volleyball, laying out, or taking your child to the playground. I also love to exercise on the path which starts at the Park and keeps going into Mission Beach if you go far enough.” – Kinga H, San Diego via Yelp
