Check-in is from 4:00 PM, normally between 4:00 and 7:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM.

If you need to arrive later than 7:00 PM, let us know. Early check-in and late check-out depend on the cleaning schedule, see below.

Entry is keyless. Two days before you arrive you will receive a message from your host with your entry code. The code activates at your check-in time.

Yes, and we would rather you did, booking direct usually works out better for both of us. You can also book through Airbnb if you prefer to keep everything on one account. Both options are here.

Up to 4 adults. The house sleeps 8 in total: a king and a queen bedroom for the adults, plus a bunk room with four twin beds built for children. It is a quiet residential street with quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, so larger adult groups are not a good fit. Traveling with more adults? Our second house, Wilbur By The Waves in north Pacific Beach, is a short drive away and sleeps up to 4 more adults.

Check-in is guaranteed from 4:00 PM. If the cleaners finish early we will let you in sooner, and you can usually leave bags in the garage or backyard before then. Ask a day or two ahead.

The cleaners start at 10:00 AM, so a late check-out until about 11:00 AM is only possible when nobody arrives that day. Ask a few days ahead and we will tell you.

Yes, and it varies by date. Holiday weekends and peak weeks need longer stays, and the calendar shows the minimum for your dates. To extend a stay you have already booked, send a change request through the site you booked on.

Any current promotion is already built into the price you see for your dates. Booking direct also skips the Airbnb service fee.

The policy for your dates is shown before you book, and it can differ by season. We cannot refund late cancellations outside that policy, so travel insurance is worth considering if your plans might change.

Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master has a king bed, the second bedroom has a queen, and there is a separate bunk room for the kids. One bathroom has a tub-and-shower combination, the other has a glass walk-in shower.

Yes. Two Graco Pack 'n Play travel cribs and a high chair are always onsite, so there is nothing to request or arrange.

Yes. Each bedroom and the main living area has its own heater and air conditioner, with a remote control near the light switch. The great room also has a gas fireplace that can be lit manually.

Yes, fast internet throughout, good enough for video calls. The network is CrownPointJewell, and your password is in your check-in message and posted inside the house.

Yes, full size, in the garage. We provide detergent for a few loads.

A gas stove and oven, dishwasher, a microwave with an air fryer setting, a double-door fridge with water and ice, and a second fridge in the garage. Plus a blender, mixer, toaster, rice cooker, hot water maker, coffee maker and grinder.

The bunks are twin beds built for children. One lower bunk works for an adult, but the top bunks are for kids only.

Yes. The garage fits one car and has an EV charger, and there is plenty of free street parking. The garage code is the same as the main house code, and there is a remote control you can keep in your car during your stay.

Yes, adult bikes and kids scooters are in the garage. The keys are in the blue lockbox; complete the bike responsibility waiver and we will send the code. Guests accept responsibility for bike use. Please lock them back up before check-out.

The Mission Bay bike path runs right along the water from here.

A short walk, a couple of minutes on foot. Crown Point sits on Mission Bay, the calm, sheltered side of the water, which makes it a lot easier with small children than the open ocean beaches.

About five minutes by car or Uber. Belmont Park is under ten minutes, and Pacific Beach is a short ride up the bay path.

Yes. A beach wagon, beach chairs, buckets, nets and beach games are in the garage, and beach towels are in the hall closet. There is also a portable charcoal BBQ you can carry down to the sand, bring your own charcoal.

No. We do not allow parties, gatherings, or professional video or photography events. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and there is absolutely no smoking inside the house.

It lights at the push of a button from a timer panel on the patio wall, and shuts itself off when the timer runs out. We filmed it, three short how-to videos here.

Parties and gatherings are not allowed. If you would like a friend to stop by, ask us first and we will decide case by case.
